So the other day I am in the bathroom with my 2 1/2 year old son...because I can't even use the bathroom without a shadow these days. He looks at me and says "You bit the hand mommy, you bit the hand" I bust into histerical laughter. Now for most of you that probably sounds very unusual. A few months ago I probably would have to but this is what I have come to think is normal in my house now. He had been watching Madagascar and there is a part in the movie when Alex the Lion says to Marty the Zebra "you bit the hand Marty, you bit the hand that feeds you." That is now my sons favorite thing to say. It is even better that he includes a very serious face and hand motions with it. It makes me smile so much.
I love that this is what my life is now. What funny thing will Leyton say or do today or this week? He is turning into such a little boy with his own personality and sense of humor. I love to see him grow and change and yet at the same time it makes me just a bit sad. The days of sitting cuddling my newborn baby boy are over. He still cuddles with me all the time...I am lucky for that. Now he is just a much bigger boy.
I know that I have years and years of growing and changing and I will enjoy and be sad by all of them. I am so lucky to be his mommy. I love that little man more than I could ever express!!

So sweet!! He is hysterical. Jackson LOVES that part too.
