Who knew when we had our first little boy that we would have a comedian on our hands? Leyton is so funny! His teacher asked me one day when I picked him up from school "Do you just laugh all the time?" And actually I have to say yes we do.
The things he comes up with are just so so funny!! I am going to go through some of my favorites of his now. Fair warning I don't think any of it is as funny in print as it is with his little face.
If any of you have watched the movie Madagascar this will make sense if not you have to go watch it because it makes this so funny. If you ask Leyton what does Melman say he will respond "Aaahhh underpants!!!" If you ask what does Alex say he says "you bit the hand Marty, your bit the hand!"
The other night I came home from work and he was very wound up. He was being very obnoxious and I told him he needed to settle down several times. He was just not listening so I did what all moms do and I took out my mommy is serious voice. I told him he needed to settle down and listen or he was going to bed. He protested "I don't want to" and I responded with well then you need to start listening and change your attitude. He came back with "Ok mommy I will change my attitude it's charging up right now." Really how do you respond to that all seriousness gone and we were all laughing.
I have a permanent non clothes wearing boy in my house. He never wants clothes on....ever! We finally made a rule that he has to at least wear underwear because his bottom was getting all irritated. So now I have captain underpants in my house. I have to fight with him to put any clothes on at all. I am starting to win the battle a little more however because now he likes "sticky jammies". And no this is not a product or syrup or jelly or some other sticky mess. These are the tight pajamas that cling to you. He loves them and calls them sticky jammies. I can't get him out of them and it is a battle I have decided to not fight right now. So I have captain underpants at home and sticky jammies boy whenever we leave the house. With the only exception being for preschool. He loves preschool so much that he will actually wear clothes so he can go.

He had also started saying "What the Heck!!!" Pretty much anytime anything happens he isn't sure about we get that its so funny. He has also decided he doesn't want to be a big brother he wants to just be a Leyton. When I asked him on the first day of school what he wants to be when he grows up he said a Leyton. I think we have a good chance at that one.
Those are just a few of my favorite situations from my favorite
comedian. Below are a few of my favorite photos of our little man. I hope you enjoyed all of this as much as we do every day!!
